Georgian Partners invests in growth-stage enterprise software companies earning $500,000 or more in monthly recurring revenues, or $6 million or more on an annualized basis. We will also consider investing earlier if we see predictability in the company’s model and a track record of strong, consistent growth. In addition, we’re happy to talk to earlier stage companies that are doing interesting things at the convergence of cloud-based business solutions, big data, and broad information rights — what we call applied analytics.
How we work pre-investment:
We have a deep respect for entrepreneurs. We know that you have a difficult job and that your time is precious, so we strive to make our process as simple and transparent as possible. We typically begin most relationships with an introductory call, during which we confirm the fit of the company in terms of its growth stage and alignment with our applied analytics investment thesis. If there’s a good fit for both parties and we’re invited to undertake preliminary due diligence then we focus on deepening our understanding of the company’s:
1. Solution and market
2. Underlying technology
3. Applied analytics opportunity
4. Accessible data
5. Information rights
6. Finance and predictability of the business model
