SCCP is a real estate investment firm specializing in mid-market companies and special situation real estate assets, oil and gas, energy services, materials, infrastructure, and power. It also does investments in management buy-outs and buy-ins, acquisition financing, shareholder successions, restructurings and recapitalizations, turnaround, expansion capital, startups, and bridge financing to significant event (IPO and mergers and acquisitions). It seeks to invest across Canada and the United States.

It offers a range of alternative investment solutions and strategies through a multifaceted venture platform. The firm invests in both public and private firms. The average investment period for the firm is five years or more.
